Natural Gas Rates

Senior Citizen Rate: Available to residents age 62 or older who are the primary provider of the household. Apply at City Hall.

Gas Tax: Residential - 1.5% inside city limits / 0.5% outside city limits. Business - 7.50% inside city limits / 6.50% outside city limits.

Garbage Tax: 7.50% inside city limits / 6.50% outside city limits.

Garbage service is contracted through Republic Services. Small business rates may include a residential fee when the owner has one or more City utilities at the residence.

Billing Schedule

Meters are generally read around the 16th of each month. Bills are mailed before the 1st and are due by the 15th of each month.

Bank Drafts

Bank drafts are processed by the 10th of each month.
